The idea behind this project is to print a thin structure so that the thinner layers will be more transparent than the thicker layers thus making an image be projected on to a wall. I used the minimal thickness of 1mm because i did not know if the printer could do any thinner. And I do suck in rendering with light effects. But the Idea is simple. Four walls forming a box suspended ove the light bulb of any commom lamp. Superted buy a rigid wire. You can make the images in ilustrator, convert them into 200x200mm printable pictures glue them toguetherand make yourself or your son a lamp. It will project any image you make on to a wall. Sorry for the bad renderings and my lack of information about APC transparency.
