This is a total replacement of the ProMega XY Motion System with a carriage that can mount an E3D Hemera Extruder. There is a Bill of Materials attached for all the off the shelf parts that are needed for it. An assembly instruction videos are on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLLLcpGYzf_a-fyMTpWnY2B_Ji2wnJuKwo For me, this mod, together with the Optical Z Endstop, the Adjustuable Z Sliders and the 1/4" custom cut mirror, turned my ProMega into a reliable printer that I originally thought I had bought. Note, there are now two versions of the Front Idler Holders. The 3.5mm version for 3mm deep magnets and the 5.5mm version for the stock 5mm magnets. If you want to use the stock magnets, please make sure you print the 5.5mm version! Added an Inland PETG profile for Simplify3D as a starting point for people to work from. <h1>Bill of Materials Change Log:</h1> New Bill of Materials Version 1.05 has been uploaded 2020-03-14 Changed: 2 x M3 x 12mm counter sunk Phillips To: 2 x M3 x 10mm counter sunk Phillips These are the screws that go through the front of the Top Cover Standoff to hold the Top Cover in place. The back are still 12mm long Changed: 2 x M3 x 10mm counter sunk Phillips To: 2 x M3 x 8mm counter sunk Phillips These are the screws that hold the Y endstop holder in place 2020-01-12: Changed: 4 x M3 x 20mm counter sunk Phillips To: 4 x M3 x 18mm counter sunk Phillips Those are the screws that go through the side bracket into the bottom of the gantry idler holders. <h1>STL Change Log:</h1> 2020-03-21: Hemera Carriage v3.stl Made the cutout at the back a bit larger to make putting the heatsert in easier. 2020-03-20: Left Back Idler Cover v3.stl Right Back Idler Cover v3.stl Gave it a bit more clearance for the idler since the previous version would pinch the idler in place if tightened down. Left Stepper Angle v2.stl Right Stepper Angle v2.stl M4 heatsert holes are now 1mm deeper to allow for longer heatserts. 2020-03-13: Cable Chain Hookup.stl Has been added. This part is optional and is just used to have a place to hookup the Cable Chain to until you can print the complete top cover standoff. 2020-02-27: Hemera Wide Fan Duct with Front Support.stl Has been added. This can be printed in PETG and shouldn't deform even when printing over a hot bed. Also added the Top Cover STLs including the cable chain stabilizer. 2020-01-20: Stepper Slide Plate: Now has 5mm radius at the corners to reduce chance of print lifting off the bed Hemera Wide Fan Duct: Has now 5mm more clearance from the heat block, left, right and back. 2020-01-12: Hemera Carriage: Mounting Holes for the Hemera have been moved down a bit Left Back Idler Cover: Mounting Holes for X Endstop give a bit longer adjustment range and a bit more clearance for idlers Left Gantry Idler Holder Bottom: Made some screw holes deeper Left Stepper Angle: Now has 6 Holes where we mount it to the back wall since CAD model and production unit had different measurements Left Stepper Plate: Hole for 20 tooth idler now goes all the way through Right Back Idler Cover: A bit more clearance for idlers Right Gantry Idler Holder Bottom: Made some screw holes deeper Right Stepper Angle: Now has 6 Holes where we mount it to the back wall since CAD model and production unit had different measurements Right Stepper Plate: Hole for 20 tooth idler now goes all the way through Side Bracket: Y Endstop Fin can now be adjusted a bit further
