Shaft collar torque testing handle

Shaft collar torque testing handle

thingiverse

This handle is meant to attach on our [parametric shaft collars](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3234501) so that we can find out how much torque the collars will survive. The torque measurement is very analog - twist with your hands until one shaft collar fails, reprint it better, repeat until a perfect collar evolves. We are very interested in your results! Please share your Final Form with your customizer and print settings! I'm sure others are eager to know as well. We find a small amount of sanding on the tube inside the collar makes a BIG difference. We do not yet know if it matters which direction you sand - along axis, or around the circumference. We have only sanded along the axis. This file was designed by IG @realjinhan. Another great http://marginallyclever.com/ production.
