<p>Bokeh is the way the lens renders out-of-focus points of light, this is reflected in the shape of point sources of light in the background of photos.</p><p>The bokeh shape is determined by the shape of the shutter, which means you can alter it by covering the front of your lens with the desired shape - thus essentially change the affective shape of the aperture.</p><p>This model lets you cover the front of your Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 50mm f/1.8G lens either with a simple <strong>slide-on cap</strong> or a <strong>screwed-on cap</strong> for well tuned printers, and rapidly change bokeh shapes from a selection of shapes including a <strong>heart</strong>, a <strong>star</strong>, a music <strong>note</strong> and a <strong>star-of-David</strong>.</p><p>Also attached is a <strong>blank</strong> insert for you to design your own bokeh shape and upload as a remix.</p><h3>&nbsp;</h3><h3>Print Settings</h3><p><strong>Material:</strong> matt black filament is preferred but not crucial for operation.</p><p><strong>Supports: </strong>minimal supports from bed only.</p><p><strong>Layer Height: </strong>0.16mm used for smooth insertion chamfers, Prusaslicer's smoothed adaptive variable layer height used for the lens caps.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>I designed this kit for a friend's wedding and didn't get the photos from the photographer yet so the photos of the bokeh effect are sourced from the internet and will be updated as soon as I get the photos.</p>
