Shapeoko 3 Dust Boot

Shapeoko 3 Dust Boot

This is a dust boot for the Shapeoko 3, or for a DeWalt DWP611. It totally wraps around the router, and is secured quite firmly by a side clamp. It allows access to the lock button while allowing the removal of the boot sole with thumb screws. This let you remove the sole and leave the boot in place. I was not satisfied with the dust boots I could find (and bought) as many use the 2 screws that secure the DWP611 lock button housing to hold the boot. The are not holding in place strong enough in my opinion and you risk to damage the button housing if too much force is applied. And without lock button, you are rather stuck. :P Edit, added a smaller area sole. Enjoy Print Settings Printer: Ike:Core Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 80% Notes: I printed mine at 80% infill and .25mm layer height with a .35 nozzle. I used two M5 6mm brass inserts for the side clamp, and four M5 5mm brass inserts to hold the sole in place. That thing is a beast at 80% infill, both heavy and very very strong.
