Shapeoko Probe Holder and Bitsetter

This is a probe holder for the Carbide3D Touch probe that acts as a tool offset probe. It adds electrical connections from your touch probe to a momentary push button that allows you to automatically calculate tool offset. This will allow you to use the debouncing and other circuitry that is already contained within your touch probe to allow your gcode sender to automatically reset your Z-axis zero point to reflect a new bit length. My picture shows a flat top [normally open momentary push button](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XVJ9M9C/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) . This limits the diameter of the tool that you can probe the length of. Instead i would recommend getting a [high flush version of the same push button](https://www.amazon.com/WerFamily-Waterproof-Momentary-Stainless-Button/dp/B012I0GSR8/ref=pd_day0_hl_60_3/145-0316177-9803705?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B012I0GSR8&pd_rd_r=cd5ddf2e-6e03-40a4-a961-ed90e21d37b0&pd_rd_w=v99LK&pd_rd_wg=rPskX&pf_rd_p=531c5da2-92c8-47a3-8df6-cb5fa8f00603&pf_rd_r=Y0P1VQ1BTD631S6TQB39&psc=1&refRID=Y0P1VQ1BTD631S6TQB39) I connected one wire from the push button to two bolts and washers that sit under the probe for the shapeoko. The other lead from the push button is connected to a protruding bolt that I clamp the alligator clip to. To verify your set up is correct turn the power onto your Shapeoko and press the button. The green led in the touch probe should turn red indicating you have completed the circuit between the probe and the alligator clip If you want a version that has the touch probe holder separate from the bit setter check out [thirdlys](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4163158) design I printed this with 20% infill and no support structures. If anyone has a better idea for making starting the lock nut at the bottom of the push button easier, please leave it in the comments.
