One of my first 3D printing projects, this was designed for my son's costume. The project turned out great, but took nearly a week of printing to complete.I printed the chest plate out flat. Then, I heated it with a hot air gun and bent it over a large pipe. For some reason, I had issues with printing the chest plate out with a large surface area, so I created some cavities and used support material. The sword slides in from the bottom of the holder and hangs freely. It never came out on its own, but was easy enough for my son to take out when he wanted.Everything was printed out in black PLA and was painted by my son.
