This is a placeholder object for 3D designers. It was rough-modelled based on the critical dimensions of a real-world object. It has three intended uses: A virtual placeholder. Import the STL into your CAD program and then build around it. This helps you position features like mounting holes, and allows you to visualise the design as a completed whole. A measurement aid. Open the STL in Netfabb Basic and make virtual measurements from it. A physical placeholder. If you design a holder for your phone, for example, you can print a placeholder for testing instead of risking your phone.
