Music Stand for a microphone stand! We needed a sheet music stand but didn't want to wait. I had a microphone stand sitting around that needed a good use. Parts --------------------- All pieces are printed with PLA though PETG might be a better option depending on use Parts used: * 2 - 5MM nuts * 1 - 16mm long, 5mm bolt * 1 - 50mm long, 5mm bolt * 1 - Washer * 4 - 1/2inch long, #8 flat head bolts and #8 nuts (this is just what I had on hand) * 1/4 inch (~5mm) thick Plywood * I used the following dimensions: * Desk: 17in x 11in or 432mm x 279mm * Lip: 17 in x 2.25 in or 432mm x 57 mm Assembly: --------------------- Use the center markers on the print to center the part on the plywood. Mark, drill, and countersink holes appropriate to the size of the bolt used. The bolts I used were flat head so they would sit flush with the desk. Insert the 16mm, 5mm bolt through the center of the desk mount Attach desk to desk mount using the 4 bolts Attach arm to desk mount and lock in place with a nut The arm has a thick side and a thin side which are flush with their respective counterparts. Attach mic mount to mic stand Insert 50mm, 5mm bolt to knob and mic stand mount I added a washer between the knob and mic mount to reduce friction Attach arm pivot and arm/desk Add nut to the arm and tighten Attach desk left and right to the main body of the desk The shorter side should be on the main body and the longer for the lip. Insert lower lip of desk
