University of Sheffield Information Commons This is a model of the University of Sheffield Information Commons. The Information Commons is the main University library/workspace. It is where the majority of students spend a considerable amount of time. Since I am a previous Sheffield student I thought I would create a model as a tribute to the many late nights, all-nighters and last minute pieces of work I have done here. I have a lot of love for this building. This model was designed using ProDesktop. It was printed in high quality white PLA 3D printer filament from 3DEX Ltd. Specifically this filament For printing I used a wall thickness of 0.8mm (twice my nozzle thickness). I used a layer height of 0.25mm and a print speed of 50mm/s. Infill was set at 10% however, I would recommend increasing this to at least 15%. Slicer was Cura 2.3 If you decide to print this I would love to see how you get on.
