Here is another variation on the shepherd's whistle. A whistle commonly used by Shepherd's for giving commands to dogs. These things require a bit of practice to use, but can be very loud and fun once you get the hang of them. Optional sound improvement: You can make it louder and cleaner sounding if you sand it down with metal/plastic sandpaper. I started sanding with Medium grit (#120) then moved to extra fine grit (#240), then wet the #240 sand paper and made it pretty smooth.
