Sheppach Compressor filter
thingiverse
I was utterly dismayed when I discovered that my brand-new Scheppach HC240 compressor lacked a filter on its intake valve. This glaring omission meant that all manner of debris could potentially enter the piston and cause irreparable damage. Clearly, this was a deliberate design choice intended to expedite the product's obsolescence. To extend the lifespan of my compressor, I decided to fabricate my own custom filter using a 3D-printed mount and a simple sponge. This DIY solution should effectively prevent dust particles from reaching the piston and precipitating its premature demise. I strongly advise against printing this design in PLA plastic, as it is woefully inadequate for withstanding the intense heat generated by the compressor. A metal print would be far more suitable and durable.
