Sheridan PGP2 Feed Plug (Reinforced)

This feed plug replaces the fragile speed feed on the Sheridan PGP2. It greatly improves feeding and requires no permanent modifications to the marker. This feed plug is held in place by two #015 o-rings rather than requiring a groove cut in the feed tube. The plug is extended and knurled for a better grip. Materials Required (Updated Version) * Two (2) #015 o-rings * One (1) 2" carriage bolt * One (1) washer for carriage bolt * One (1) nut for carriage bolt * Blue thread locker The updated version uses standard carriage bolts instead of machine screws. It also has the option to install an end cap to hide the nut and bolt in the rear. Both versions work well, but in my opinion this one appears to be a lot cleaner looking when completed. When assembling, it is recommended to cut down the excess bolt length with a cutoff wheel or a hacksaw. If your rear washer is too wide for the recess, remove material from the washer, not from the plug. The end cap is a press fit. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Materials Required (Original Version): * Two (2) #015 o-rings * One (1) bolt at least 45 mm in length with a maximum diameter of 4 mm and a low profile head * Two (2) washers with a maximum diameter of 16 mm - the wider the better * One (1) nut * Blue thread locker When installing the bolt, make sure that the head is at the face of the feed plug and the nut is in the rear. Install wide washers at each end to prevent layer separation due to repeated insertion and removal. Failure to reinforce the plug with a bolt will eventually result in layer separation inside the feed tube. Dimensions of the plug face are adjusted to account for the washer and bolt. Cut down any excess length from the bolt if desired. A light coating of marker oil or marker grease on the o-rings is recommended. Be sure to use blue thread locker on the nut to prevent it from working loose. Red thread locker is not recommended.
