Approximately 50,000 of all versions were manufactured between 1942 and 1945. Its version with a 105mm gun was produced from 1944 at about 4680 examples. It accommodates a crew of 5 people. It is armed with a 105mm gun, a Browning 7.62 machine gun in the box and sometimes an M2 machine gun on the turret.
