Sherman M4A2 modelled in Blender 2.77It has been modelled from the blueprints and pictures of real one. There may be some differences on some parts of the model because of lack of pictures found but it is almost similar with the real Sherman. Because of variety of Sherman Tanks, some parts may belongs to a model and some other parts may belongs to another model of Sherman Tanks but in general, it reflacts the real one.From screws to most of the parts, it has been modelled seperately, for this reason, it has high amount of polygons. It may need an additional optimization study or some of the faces can be deleted to decrease the number of polygons. In general, the faces which has not been seem, tried to be cleanned but on the other hand, there may be some faces which escaped from observations.Because, it has been modelled in seperate parts and because most of the parts are located in different layers, it is possible and easy to make any changes on any part and also it is easy to combine them to rig purpose. Main reason for high amount of polygons is bolts and screws, by deleting screws and bolts, it is also possible to decrease the amount of polygons drastically and instead of modelled screws and bolts, textures can be used for them. I preferred to use modelled ones and hence it caused high amount of polygons. Mirrors which has been used in modelling has not been applied, for this reason, you may also easily make changes on one side of model which has mirror on other side.
