SHIELDZ: The Great Canadian Protective Face Shield

thingiverse

The COVID-19 Pandemic is here! All hands on deck! The Great Canadian Protective Face Shield is inspired by the designs of Gizeh Triana (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4204061) and Prusa Research (https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/25857-protective-face-shield-rc1). It is designed from scratch using Fusion 360 for Canadian healthcare workers. We made it more comfortable to wear and more Canadian, with a maple leaf and 13 slots representing our 10 provinces and 3 territories. Just add a plastic sheet and rubber band and you are all set! Please feel free to print them and donate to your local hospitals to protect your doctors and nurses. You are also permitted to sell your prints at production cost (no more than $10 per set) to healthcare facilities during this period of crisis. For other commercial use, please contact us for details. Revisions: v3 & 3.1 - First published versions. v3.24 - Relocated pegs to fit Prusa's popular cutting pattern, rounded more corners, added bottom studs. v3.25 - Adjusted locations of bottom studs. v3.26a - Finalized locations of bottom studs. v3.28 - Launch version of Class I Medical Device manufactured by Makerwiz, licensed by Health Canada. #3DvsCOVID19
