Shim for adjusting focus in DKL-NEX lens adapter

The cheap and ubiquitous DKL-NEX that adapts DKL / Voigtlander / Retina lenses to Sony E had its focus a bit off. With the Xenon F/1.8 50mm lens, it focused significantly past infinity, and the minimal focus distance was about two feet too long. One can, however, remove the top part of the adapter using the three screws and insert a shim to increase the distance slightly. Unfortunately, I found that I had to balance the thickness of shim that was needed for perfect focus and the length of the screws--longer screws would let me have a slightly thicker shim, but I don't have longer ones. The screws in the adapter look to me as M1.7x0.35x3.5, so M1.7x0.35x4.5 or longer should work. You may want to experiment a bit with different shim thicknesses (just resize in the Z direction).
