This is a shim I designed to repair the Gothic Lantern by Shira, published Jun 21, 2017 This is a single extrusion thickness so it can be tricky to print. The attached STL file is long enough to cover the entire joint. However I found that only the first half of the joint needs the shim. I made one print and then just cut it in half and used one for each side. Alternatively you could just adjust the Z-axis in your slicer to the length of shim you want. Just glue them in place making sure both shims are on the same side of the lantern. The non shimmed ends will slide into the lid slots first. Most likely you will have to do some sanding or trimming to get them to fit properly. I printed two of these lanterns and found that one had a little shrinkage on the lid that made the shim a little too tight, but without the shim the lid fell completely off. Good Luck
