Shimano Bleed Block

Shimano Bleed Block

thingiverse

Shimano hydraulic disc brake bleeding block. This version is two part, so you can print it flat against the build plate without the wings on the block hanging in the air and required to be supported to print nice. In the files there's one half of the block that you need to print twice to make one block, obviously. The block halves have two bigger holes for directional pegs that you need to use to assemble the two block halves as a whole block. The tolerance of the peg is very tight, so you may need to use hammer and gently tap the pegs into their dedicated holes, for the final touch you may gently tap with hammer so that the bleed block halves press against each other. When putting the blocks together, you may prefer to sand the parts a bit and if you want, you can use superglue like Loctite Ultra Gel to ensure the blocks staying together, but if you got the pegs tolerance right, you shouldn't need glue. Happy brake bleeding!
