This is a remix of the TL-FC38 tool originally made by bazza_light. This is a custom tool that shimano uses to fix the lock-ring onto the chain ring on shimano steps electric bicycles. I changed the sizes slightly for a better fit on the nut and to fit within the plastic chain ring guide. This design also uses a 32mm socket to attach to the tool, but you could potentially use a shifter or spanner on the hex nut. I had to put a breaker bar onto it to get the nut undone, so expect it to be tight! Don't forget it is left hand thread so undo it in a clockwise direction.
