I'd like to expand this line, as wrecks make great terrain for games. They can serve as objective markers, scenario locations, and treasure sources. Having space ships and their wreckage would allow you to substitute the wreck model when the ship is shot down. This adds a new layer of depth to your game's environment. The abstract shape of the wreckage makes it easy to paint in simple colors that still look great for games. Simply spray black paint and drybrush some silver for a basic look, or use different grey shades to create a more detailed appearance. A brown wash can make the model appear dirty, while darker paints can highlight the blasted areas.
