I've designed this for the Rival Nerf guns. Disclaimer: The gun has an upgraded spring and can handle the force required to spin it from one side to the other if you hit the target square. I'm not sure about air soft guns, due to the lack of mass of an air soft ammo, it would take a gun that can shoot with a high velocity. The swivel arms are webbed to reduce the mass so the Rival ball can move it. I don't thing it would be necessary to web the arm if you intend to use a BB gun. I would make the targets out of a urethane sheet or maybe a thicker 1/4" acrylic for a BB gun. I used the Ø1/4" magnet size for the Rival ammo. A Ø3/8" magnet size is also provided. I used 1/4" thick acrylic for the mounting wall brackets and the swivel arms and 0.100" thick acrylic for the targets. The round rod is a steel 3/4" tube from a broom handle. The rest of the parts, with the exception of hardware, are 3D printed. The unit hangs from the wall using 3M Command adhesive hooks. All of the 3D part require holes to be tapped using the following tap sizes: 6-32 UNC, 10-24 UNC, and 1/4-20 UNC There are a variety of target sizes within the svg file to choose from. We have tested other guns that work since it was first published. Rival Artemis Dart Zone Liberator. Testing has shown that webbing on the wall mounting brackets weakens it too much and allows excess deflection. They still work, but droop. Also, I will add additional webbing to the pivot arm. A direct shot in the center of a web will break it. They also sag.
