Shop Material Rack

Shop Material Rack

Organization is key. Though, too much organization can stifle actual work. For my flat and long materials in the studio I needed a simple but effective material rack. Here’s what I came up with! First I decied to build it all out of 2x3’s from the Wood Store. These are the cheapest lengths of wood and perform fine for minor tasks like corralling flat sheet goods. I also made sure to model this up in Fusion 360 for it can be difficult for my brain to keep all of the cuts, lengths, tolerances, and what not from getting off track. Plus it make it easy to share! All in all it should take about 1 day provided you have all of the things: • x34 8’ 2x3’s • Wood glue • Miter Saw (or your favorite way to cut 2x3’s to length) • Impact Drill • Counter sink bit • 3.5 Inch Construction Screws Find the full project including files, materials, and more on the full website: https://www.caseyjscalf.com/blog-full-roll/shop-material-rack
