Shop Vac hose holder

Shop Vac hose holder

I am always having to twist the small hose for my Shop Vac all round the handles to keep it neat. I designed this to fit the Shop Vac and hold the hose with or without its extensions Instructions I printed it with a raft, vertical orientation: Material: ABS Infill: 10% Layer height: 0.27 Number of shells: 1 Feedrate: 80 mm/s Travel feedrate: 150 mm/s Temp: 230 I think these are the basic settings for acceleration on a Replicator (original) The hose end and extensions both fit into the larger hole, the smaller hole snaps onto the vertical part of the tubular handle on my Shop Vac. It takes a little force but should not break. I cleaned up the STL using the NetFabb Cloud free service. I will also upload the Sketchup model and photos. I drilled two holes in the narrow neck to insert zip ties to clamp the holder tightly to the metal arm on the vac. This was done because the small open end cracked after removing and reinserting. The Sketchup model needs to be modified to make the small end slightly thicker, I think. However, it works great with the zip ties as is. I've made three to hold the hose end and two tubes.
