The shopping bag carrier is a solution created for a problem that evolves when a person wants to transport shopping goods on a bicycle. The average city bike has no utilities to fix a shopping bag to the bike. a lot of people end up hooking the bag around the steering handle, this results in a unstable bike and dangerous road behavior. The bigger and the more heavy the goods are the more impact this has on the road stability. Some people transport the goods in one hand while driving on handed or with heavy goods keeping the goods on the carrier with on hand. Al these "solutions" result in a poor stability of the driver and dangerous road situations. The shopping bag carrier Is a mounting plate for shopping bags. it is mounted on top of the luggage carrier. in unused position it is folded flat and allows the user top place boxes on the luggage carrier. when folded up(by the red part), the shopping bags can be hang on to the hooks on the upper side of the bag carrier (blue in the drawing). the bags can be hung on either side of the luggage carrier. the stretch bands can be placed arround the shopping bags. in this way the bags will not swing arround while cycling around corners. The protection plate on the inside of the stretch band ensures the bag does not get stuck in the wheel or the gearing.
