This is a two-part stop block to mount on the wide rip fence on a Shopsmith Mark V 520 or Mark 7. It won't work on a 500 or 510 since those fences are different. The block is reversable and fippable depending on the need. I made two, one for each end of the fence if needed. I studied all the commercially-available options and they didn't readily work on the Shopsmith fence without some adapting, and even the Shopsmith version also required an additional rail to mount to the fence. This stop block mounts directly to the wider 520/Mark 7 rip fence. The pin is held to the block with a 1/4x20x4" bolt, with a thin nylock locknut and with thin plastic spacers between the bolt head and nut and also between the pin and block. All of these parts came from my local harware store and Home Depot. It is held to the fence with a standard Shopsmith tee-nut, using one of the 1/4x20 holes in the tee nut. Note that they are not both the same distance from the end of the tee nut so you have to pick the one that actually fits against the fence block. I hacksawed the head off a 2" bolt and used green Loctite to permanently hold it into the tee nut. I also used a small through knob from Amazon that works great. NOTE: I printed the pin at 100% infill for strength, and the block was printed with 50% infill.
