When using a Blue Yeti microphone with a generic microphone arm, the adjustment knob hits the mini USB connector. This extension allows the knob to clear the cable. Threaded to 5/8-27 TPI on the mic end and 3/8-16 on the stand end. More than strong enough due to the fact that the extension slides over the "pin" of the mic arm before threading in. Made in 2 pieces that thread together to mimic the original adapter and avoid overhang or supports.
