Shot Glass

Shot Glass

I finally made the plunge and purchased a 3D printer. After calibrating things and doing a few failed attempts, This was my first succesful 3D printer on my OWN printer! Yah! The print actually turned out pretty nice but there are still a few things that will need to be tweaked with my printer. I'm pretty sure the file is good to go though as I ran it through netfab to boot. The object is a small shot or martini glass that I modeled after a set that I bought at walmart. The finished product is sort of cool looking, the obtuse texture of the base feels cool to hold and touch. I tried filling it with water but there were a few tiny gaps in some of the layers and it leaked and pooled in the base. Hilarious. But all it would need is a bit of paint and some food grade epoxy and you're good to go, print a set for your next party! Please add comments, give me some likes and support. I will have many more models to come!
