Shover/kitchen drain cover - high flow, customizable

I have started to model the kitchen sink drain cover because all of the models I have tried to print and use were too restrictive to the water flow, so our drains just not worked with them. This model has bigger holes and is really easy to print. It was one of my first models in OpenSCAD. It is parametric, you can edit it for your drain size. The kitchen drain cover is as deep as possible, so the gross stuff from washing the dishes would stay inside. The shower drain cover has the upper part flat, so the hair can be just swept away. I usually print it from PLA, just because it is easier for me. But after one pasta drainage (in the kitchen sink), it tends to warp a bit. It is still usable, but it looks melty. So it is advisable to use ABS in this case. The parts are oriented correctly for printing. The kitchen drain cover should be printed with supports, the shower drain cover does not need them. I will add the pictures of finished parts as soon as I will need a new one. The old ones are used and nobody wants to see these parts in the used state. Enjoy your clean drain pipes.
