Shower wire shelf hook

Shower wire shelf hook

This is a hook that can be attached to the bottom of a shower basket. It's meant for shower poufs. It doesn't protrude inside the basket at all, so all your shampoo bottles are unaffected. It was designed for a Smedbo DK1022 Sideline Basic basket, but probably fits many others if they have the same wire measurements. The measurements this hook was designed for are: Wire diameter: 3 mm Wire spacing (center-to-center): 20 mm Use a caliper to check yours! If your wire diameter is smaller, it's likely that the inter-wire gap is smaller too. Try scaling the hook down by a few percent in your slicer. Feel free to remix, or message me with your basket wire measurements and I'll see what I can do to help out. I recommend printing with settings that maximise adhesion (brim, no cooling), because the diameter of the attachment holes is altered if the print shrinks. Try to minimize supports, because the hook gap is difficult to clean up. I printed mine with PLA. Leave a comment if you try with ABS! To attach the hook, just align the holes with the wire shelf from the bottom and push it up. If the size is correct, it should clip on and carry at least a couple hundred grams easily.
