Sidchrome socket set replacement trays Metric and AF 1/2" and 1/4" drive

a friend has a 30+ year old Sidchrome tool set that has the socket set trays disintegrate over time. the old trays are pictured above. they would no longer hold the tools securely in place. i designed these to replace the trays. they are in 3 parts each side and will easily fit on a printer like the Prusa MK3S. printed in a generic PLA, i used a fairly dense infill (25% cubic) as these need to be tough, and have enough infill to support the dowel holes and the tools to be placed in them. double check fitment into your tool box before gluing the dowels in, as one side for us was a very tight fit. they both fit as is shown. but one was way tighter for some reason. you could possibly slice the files and use lots less material by lowering the overall height to just enough to cover the largest tool. but we wanted them to match as close as possible the original holders. the pictured print includes a 32mm socket on one side, this was a one off mod for my friend. and the files posted here DO NOT have the 32mm socket. below is a complete list of the tools that are supported in the tray. 1/2" drive long extension medium extension short extension Uni Joint Breaker Bar 1/2" ratchet 13/16" spark plug socket 5/8" spark plug socket 10mm socket 11mm socket 12mm socket 13mm socket 14mm socket 15mm socket 16mm socket 17mm socket 18mm socket 19mm socket 21mm socket 22mm socket 23mm socket 24mm socket 1/2" drive A/F sockets 3/8" socket 7/16" socket 1/2" socket 9/16" socket 5/8" socket 11/16" socket 3/4" socket 13/16" socket 7/8" socket 15/16" socket 1" socket 1/4" drive ratchet long extension short extension uni joint 1/4" drive Metric sockets 4mm socket 5mm socket 6mm socket 7mm socket 8mm socket 9mm socket 10mm socket 1/4" drive A/F sockets 3/16" socket 7/32" socket 1/4" socket 8/32" socket 5/16" socket 11/32" socket 3/8" socket
