Construction began on the Faculty of Engineering building in 1925-1931 after architect Nikola Nestorović crafted its design. Currently serving its initial function, this iconic edifice houses three separate schools of engineering, fulfilling its intended purpose. Following World War II, renowned architect Mihailo Radovanović reimagined the structure with an additional storey, bringing modernity to the classic layout. Situated directly east of the esteemed University Library, this stand-alone marvel is strategically arranged around four spacious interior courtyards. This masterwork exhibits striking academism coupled with classicist influences in its bold design and ornate features that create a stunning façade.
