Mount to attach a length of 3/8" threaded rod to the side of my printer. I have this attached to the 2020 extrusion frame of the printer, but you could use this to attach it to anything really: wall, cabinet, etc. I use 2 of these on my printer, to hold my Crazy Long Spool Holder: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4682529
