Side Roller for Technical Innovations Pro-Dome 15

<p>These are side rollers for a Technical Innovations Pro-Dome 15 Observatory Dome.</p> <p>Instead of spending roughly $90 on new side rollers that have a tendency to bind and rub I decided to attempt my own low friction design.</p> <p>I designed these rollers around cheap and easy to get 608zz skateboard bearings. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0839212F4/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&amp;th=1</p> <p>Simply use a hammer on a hard surface to tap the bearings into place. I used PETG which worked great as it has an ability to stretch slightly rather than break like PLA when stressed.</p> <p>Be sure to add a small washer under the bearing to lift it off the mounting surface and prevent the roller from rubbing. This should provide a significant improvement in ease of rotation to your dome.
