When printing with side transition beds on the Cr-10 or Palette+, it's essential to wipe the nozzle clean afterwards. The slide attachment helps prevent purged filament from accumulating on the rail/frame by providing an off-ramp for it to fall onto. To enhance the design, I wrapped the slide in foil so that the filament drops right off once it reaches the end. Additionally, I cut a rubber band into a pointed tip and threaded it through the wipe's holes to make pulling out the filament easier, securing both ends with a knot.
