<p>This extension is to allow the mounting of a 40mm fan to the E3D V6 Hotend. It simply clips onto the hotend as the original fan duct. I used the Noctua 40mm 12v FAN which requires a buck converter to step the voltage down from 24v to 12v. The fan can be mounted with either the provided screws or anti vibration mounts.
