Sidewinder X1 Y Belt Tensioner

Sidewinder X1 Y Belt Tensioner

To compliment my Sidewinder X-Belt Tensioner (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4706217) I decided to make this Y-Belt Tensioner that uses a thumb screw for tightening, and not the "allen wrench and pull" method. Since this would be replacing a metal part, I did my best to design the tensioner to be as sturdy as possible. Available for download are two versions of the part: - _Model using existing Y-tensioner hardware._ This one re-utilizes the pulley, 2 T-nuts, and screws from the metal plate. It is stable and works but will lean towards the left a little when under tension. This is because there isn't much support on the pulley side, so as the belt gets tight it pulls the part towards the pulley. - _Model using existing hardware and an extra T-Nut/screw._ This is the one pictured above on my Sidewinder. Uses all the hardware of the other model with an additional T-Nut and screw that goes in the right side of the rail. This T-Nut can be tightened just enough to let the tensioner slide back and forth, but also minimize the wiggle room when the tensioner is tightened. This version has very little (if any) noticeable lean under tension. I was lucky to have an extra couple screws and T-Nuts from when I removed the spool holder from the top of the printer, so I used one of those for this model. It is identical in size to the screws that are being taken from the stock metal tensioner. Also included is a thumb screw model that is a bit slimmer than the screw I provided with the X-Belt Tensioner. Both screws use the same thread size, so are interchangeable if you like one over the other. Please feel free to remix and make better!
