Here is a Z stepper alignment kit I designed for the Sidewinder X1 based on the excellent design of dugacki for the Anet A8 (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2684692) Print 2 kits. Slide one ring on each Z screw (just on top of each motor coupler) and one fix index on each Z motor. Use the knife to adjust the X 2060 aluminum profile to the top 2040 extrusion, then home down and turn the rings so the arrows point on the fix index. You're done ! At each Z home visually check the turning arrows are facing the fixed ones. Both turning arrows should be parallel at any time.
