I made a 12mm sleeve out of aluminium and drilled this to the dimension of the gauge shaft. I also made a slot in the side of it to enable a screw to go through to hold the gauge. I also made a 10mm sleeve and tapped the centre of this to hold a screw, to secure the gauge. Both sleeves were fixed onto the holder with superglue. The holder fits into the toolpost holder. V1 needed a 3mm shim in order to place the centre of the gauge at the correct height. V2 holds the gauge 4mm higher.
