<h3>Silencer for Lightsaber SABNEO V7</h3><p>&nbsp;</p><h4>Why?</h4><p>The lightsaber SABNEO V7 has two sound levels: low and high. Both of them were still a bit loud for indoor use, so I modeled a silencer that can be placed inside the lightsabers end cap to dampen the sound.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h4>Available Versions</h4><p>There are two versions.</p><p>Sabneo_v7_Silencer_1_Hole: Leaves only one hole in the end cap open if inserted. Dampens the sound a lot.</p><p>Sabneo_v7_Silencer_5_Holes: Leaves five of the holes in the end cap open. Dampens a little less sound compared to the version with one hole.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h4>Print Setting</h4><p>Print with the flat side on the print bed.&nbsp;</p><p>Print settings shouldn't matter too much with this print.</p><p>Mine where printed in Prusament PLA Galaxy Black with a layer height of 0.15 in the default PrusaSlicer profile for Prusament PLA.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h4>Assembly</h4><p>Please note that the silencer is not a perfect fit by design. The silencers diameter is slightly smaller than the end cap. This should make it easier to be printed without having a perfectly dialed in printer.</p><p>I would suggest to wrap some electrical tape or some scotch tape around the outside until it fits perfectly. This prevents the silencer from rattling around inside the lightsaber hilt.&nbsp;</p><p>In my photos you can see the outer layer of electrical tape (which also has the benefit of being slightly rubberized). I had to apply roughly two layers of tape.</p><p>Please see one of my pictures on how to insert it into the end cap. There is a slight notch on the inside of the silencer to help pull it out.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
