If you don`t like to have a very loud printer anymore this Upgrade is a MUST HAVE for you ! You only have to decouple the Steppers from the Metal-Sheet. tested on an Orca V0.30 and V.42 You can find a demonstration video of it here : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C6zRAMKVI-I Instructions What you need a printed template (schablone.stl) 3mm foam rubber (like this http://www.conrad.de/ce/de/product/230043/MOOSGUMMI-ZUSCHNITT-SELBSTKLE-300X200X3/SHOP_AREA_32472&promotionareaSearchDetail=005 M3 Screws (longer than you actually have :D ) 4,3x15mm washer 25mm and 4mm hollow puncher Cut out two 42x42mm pieces of foam rubber for each stepper you want to silence. Put a piece into the template and push the hollow puncher through the holes (do this on a old wooden plate !!!) Now you just have to install the Plates like shown on the pictures :) Have fun to print through the whole night without disturbing sleeping neighbours ;)
