Silicone Spacer Cutter. Prusa MK3 Bed Leveling

thingiverse

This is just a small design I made to cut silicone rubber spacers to adjust the bed leveling in my Prusa MK3. I needed to ensure same length and squared ends for the spacer. These spacers are used to level the bed using exactly the same procedure as in the "Bed Leveling without Wave Springs" ( https://github.com/PrusaOwners/prusaowners/wiki/Bed_Leveling_without_Wave_Springs ) just using the rubber spacers to replace the original Prusa steel spacers instead of the nylon nuts. To make the spacers I used this high temp silicone hose: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07219JBWM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The resulting spacers are 7.5mm long which allows 2 mm compression once installed. Hope this is useful. I got a really good result. See the bed level output in the attached picture.
