This is a silverware rack that allows you to save space in your sink while draining utensils. I designed it with a wider base so it would be stable, and it holds more utensils because the bottom of each section is wider, allowing the top of the utensil to lean farther out. Also, the interior “floor” is slanted to allow water runoff. The water is then channeled to a spout that can hang over the edge of the sink.

This was originally designed to save space while doing dishes in our RV, but should work for other applications. The channels along the base prevent the piece from suctioning down to a wet countertop.

***I would print this in PETG, with AT LEAST 5 TOP SOLID LAYERS. The slanted inner floor is not seen as a single layer by the slicer, and if you don't have several layers, the floor won't be watertight. Additionally, I printed this with a 0.8 nozzle, so if you are printing with a smaller nozzle, you will need to add even more top layers.***

I printed this entirely without support, and aside from some stringing, I didn't have any issues.

Infill is a negligible issue, but I would do several perimeters on the print.
