I was struggling to play Forza Horizon 4 on my Xbox One X with the controller as I found that the thumbstick corresponding to steering for some reason has 20 degrees empty movement at the middle point. I think Microsoft made this in the code for keeping the car straight in case the inside spring mechanism of the controller gets loose and thus making it hard to keep the car or whatever you do with this thumbstick. So, I decide to do it my way, for fun and for the challenge. Designed the whole base and steering for 24 working hours on Fusion 360. Printed on Anycubic 4Max for a total of 65 hours and one spool PLA. Assembled for few hours and code the Arduino Uno for about 10 min with code adjusting to the game and the controller for few hours ( ughhhh... the toughest part ) The end result is unbelievable as you can see from the video. Please consider subscribing to my channel this will help me a lot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dOtsi0W8K1M Parts list: 1x power supply HS1220 ( UK plug ) 1x Arduini UNO board 1x 10K potentiometer with long shaft 50mm ( cut in middle and add a small screw to connect with the 4.2 Cover Bearing star ) 1x micro servo FS90MG 4x F623ZZ flange ball bearings 3x V slot Delrin with bearings - bearing wheels 24*10 mm 4x male-male jump wires 4x 4mm*1mm neodymium magnets 20x 10mm*1mm neodymium magnets ( top magnets to be attracting each other for the center position and all others repelling ) The .ino file is attached ( it's best I did for a realistic feeling, modify to your likings) The following files need to be modified a bit: 3.2 Arduino base needs to be trimmed from the top for 2mm but the Arduino posts not to be trimmed. The Arduino legs for power and USB underneath will probably need to be trimmed too. 4.2 Cover Bearing star needs to be pulled up for about 70% but diameter to be the same
