I wanted to wall mount my SimMagic DD Steering wheel, but other than having to buy a full or even half a hub at a huge cost, i thought i might have a go at printing one.

V1 was printed and was too tight of a fit and require sanding. Also had to manually add in some relief cuts for the ball bearing runs.

V2 has a slightly thicker base, connecting part 1mm thinner in diameter, relief cuts for the bearing runs and also relief cuts in the top to account for the connection pins in the wheel base.

I printed (Ender 3) with standard PLA, 5 layers top/bottom, 5 walls and 50% cubic subdivision infill. The thing feels pretty sturdy and you might get away with less infill. Print took about 2 hours at 0.28mm layer height.
