To upgrade to ball bearings, I improvised when access to a lathe was unavailable. While functional, the solution was heavier and more complex than anticipated. To proceed, clean M16 washers with wire wool, ensuring epoxy adheres evenly. Place an M8 washer in the M16 washer's hole, then apply a small amount of epoxy to the bearing's edge and center it over the M16 washer. Repeat for the other side, securing M8 washers inside the M16 holes. This creates a cost-effective belt guide using ball bearings.
