I used a simple boat design for testing vase mode with Ultimaker Cura 3.2.0 and a 0.6mm nozzle. The test was done using wood filament, but it should work just as well with any PLA filament. Edit: June 15, 2018. I added photos of a 2:1 scale boat printed with both a 1.2mm and a 0.6mm nozzle. The files will be available in a few days.
