Simple Boat for Tabletop Games

<p>This simple boat was made because I wanted a more stylized boat that was not a generic row boat style boat. I made it from scratch in Blender. It is part of a larger sand skiff model I am working on and plan to publish. That said this boat was nice in its own right, so it was worth keeping as a separate model.&nbsp;</p><p>The model occupies roughly 1x4 standard gaming tiles. The model is also mostly flat on top so that several figures can balance on it easily.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><h3><strong>Printing Notes:</strong></h3><p>I print with FDM. So the design in FDM friendly. When printing, I advise printing nose or end up. This greatly reduces the overhangs and makes the textures on the surface of the boat stand out more. &nbsp;See horizontal vs vertical print orientation example image. This image shows the same printer and print settings but just printed at a different angle. The holes on the sides did not need supports when I printed it.&nbsp;</p><p>I also included two pre-supported versions. The thin supports is the one I used, however it will not work with all set ups. Depending on your layer height and nozzle size the supports may be detached from the model when slicing.
