A cutbag entry. A chair/stool made from cardboard and a bag. Good for a kick around chair for the kids to play around with. Instructions Cut a bunch of cardboard into roughly 9"x14" rectangles. I used 8 layers per board. Some layers can be just a bunch of pieces. Glue the layers together. You need two boards. Stick some books on top to keep everything tight together as the glue dries. Trim the sides if desired. A little scroll saw works great for this. Tape the ends. This is where the weight will be supported. Cut a slot in the middle of the board half way through and as wide as the boards are thick. Cut some tough bag material the width of the chair and long enough to hang over the ends a few inches. Heavy plastic bags like large rice bags tape easily and are quite tough. Tape the plastic to the chair. Repeat on the bottom. The bottom bag is required for strength. It converts bending loads to compressive loads. Sit on it. Though it is intended for kids, I sat on it and it held. It was a little flexy side to side though, so a couple straps on the sides might help.
