I loved the original design for its simplicity but still being functional. I did make the original, but found I needed 2 things. I've attached pictures for reference. I also included a couple of pictures comparing mine (the lighter gray) to the original (darker gray) for size comparison. My cell phone case has a belt clip on the back of it and I needed a slot in the front so the phone would still sit flat against it. I thought this could also help for people who put pop socket grips on the back of their phones. My charging cord has a microUSB to USB-C adapter on it. This makes it a bit too long for the original. The phone couldn't sit down firmly on the cradle without the cord hitting the tabletop and bending. So I made mine a bit taller by simply raising the back. Additional note, in adding the slot, I wanted the slot 35 mm wide, which took off 10 mm from the gap in the center of the cradle. This left each side a bit more frail, so I added 10 mm to the overall width. This makes the cradles at the bottom front the same width as the original, while making the overall width an extra 5 mm on each side (for 10 mm total). Also a note about the software I used to modify the original. I tried Tinkercad but when importing the original STL into Tinkercad, the hooks for the cradles got messed up. But I was able to pull it into Fusion 360 and work with it.
